Dear Partners,
Rich is gearing up to leave for ministry travels in a few weeks, and we’re excited to share where God is leading him this summer.
Strategy Refinement + Children’s Materials
He’ll stop in Nigeria first for 10 days in July, meeting with staff to refine ministry strategy and test new children’s program lessons with kids on the ground.
South Asia August Trainings
From there, he heads to South Asia, where he’ll join the FFICM Ethiopian team, and FFICM South Asia coordinator Pearl for four weeks of training 270 pastors across the country.
Here’s the breakdown:
- Week 1 – Central province (Aug. 4–7): 50 trainees expected.
- Week 2 – Northern province (Aug. 11–14): 80 trainees expected.
- Week 3 – Southern mountainous region (Aug. 18–21): 70 trainees expected.
- Week 4 – Southwestern region (Aug. 25–28): 70 trainees expected.
Vision Casting
Pearl believes these trainings will bear real fruit. In the next 10 months, he expects:
- The gospel shared with at least 1,500–2,000 people.
- At least 800 people receiving Jesus as Savior.
- At least 100 follow-up trainings underway.
- At least 400 believers firmly rooted in their faith, witnessing and leading others well.
Prayer Requests
Pearl has asked us to lift up the following in prayer:
- Safe travel between training centers.
- God’s protection at one of the training centers, where opposition from Buddhist leaders has been strong.
- Strength and endurance for all FFICM staff, trainers, and volunteers.
- Protection from food-borne and waterborne illnesses.
- Wisdom for trainers to safeguard personal and organizational information, so future ministry isn’t put at risk.
- Fruitfulness and effectiveness in every session.
September Trainers’ Training + Children’s Materials
Finally, from September 2–4, Rich and Pearl will invest in 25 trainers who have shown the greatest fruit in sharing the gospel and training others.
Each evening, the team will also test children’s program materials with local kids — a small but vital step toward future ministry with the next generation.
Please join us in praying for safety, open doors, and lasting fruit through every step of this trip.
In Christ,
The FFICM Team
